Hardbeatnews, EDINBURG, Texas, Mon. May 8, 2006: A 32 year-old Guyanese national with an extensive criminal history for resisting arrest, grand larceny, burglary, auto theft, aggravated assault, criminal use of a firearm, possession of a firearm, and attempted murder, was recently nabbed trying to re-enter the U.S. after being deported.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection's Rio Grande Valley Border Patrol Sector agents did not release his name but they say he was wanted for an attempted murder charge on December 25, 1990 in Queens, New York.
He is currently in custody by the United States Marshal’s Service. The Guyanese national was one of 12 aggravated felons nabbed recently in Brownsville, Texas using state-of-the-art fingerprinting identification technology.

Ten were from Mexico and the eleventh is from Honduras. They all will be prosecuted for illegal re-entry into the United States after deportation. –
